Volume 3 Spoilers Options

I hope this is alright to post. I can't wait until we can get the scanlations, and I literally love XLG for scanlating this series. However, I know it will be some time until the third volume is released. So my questions are, to those who have assess to the raws of Iinari, what's going on in the story? Is everything as good as before, or even better? Have Kotaro and Namu (I love those two!) appeared again?

Well, it pretty much picked up right where it left off. A couple new characters have appeared (you can probably guess who one of them is), and there's been a battle that's been going on for the last four months (I hesitate to call each month a "chapter" because a few months have only been half chapters) and is going to take up all or most of the third volume. Namu and Kotaro have indeed appeared, and we even get to see Namu transform. It's almost felt like a shounen fighting series recently in terms of pacing, but it's been explaining a lot of back info so it's all good.

The art looks slightly different and when the art is finished it looks better than ever, but unfortunately a lot of times there are no backgrounds and a lot of the artwork for chapter 12.5 looked like scribbles, but hopefully this will be fixed for the volume.

But overall the series is still pretty much as good as usual. I like the new direction the artwork has taken overall, and it has the same kind of strange humor we're all used to from the series. The only thing I'm worried about is how long this single fight is taking, since before now every story arc was resolved within 2 chapters. But whatever, I don't think you'll be disappointed when all is said and done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Wow. A fight taking the whole volume? this is getting interesting, but I'm sure the author can handle it. Thank you so, so much for the info! And thank you once more for scanlating this series. Your dedication to the series as well as the excellent quality is something I wish more scanlating groups had ^^;
